Emma Bidgood is a Senior Nutrition Support Team and Intestinal failure Dietitian at the Royal Melbourne Hospital with advanced scope of practice for ordering parenteral nutrition. Emma is originally from the UK and has extensive clinical experience within the area of complex nutritional support in both the UK and Australian healthcare systems and has worked with patients receiving home parenteral nutrition (HPN) for the past 9 years. She is actively involved in teaching and training in the area of parenteral nutrition support. Emma has a particular interest in assessment of quality of life as an outcome measure in patients receiving HPN and the use of nutritional therapy in the management of inflammatory bowel disease.
