Frank Lin
Dr. Frank Lin, MB ChB, PhD, FRACP, FAIDH, is an academic medical oncologist at Prince of Wales Hospital (POWH) and a clinical informatician. His expertise lies in precision medicine, decision-making, and AI diagnostics in oncologic care. He works as a Senior Research Fellow at the SPHERE Cancer Academic Group (UNSW), Garvan Institute, and NHMRC Clinical Trial Centre (University of Sydney). He co-chairs several early phase biomarker-directed trials (MoST and the pancreas subprogram), with active research interests in outcome analysis, medical image analysis, clinical deep learning, and rapid learning health system. He leads the development and maintains the TOPOGRAPH knowledge base, ARTICANZ trials database, and authors an AI decision support system for rational trial matching. He is a co-investigator on several grants and contributes to molecular tumour boards. He co-leads the POWH precision oncology clinic and MDT through a MRFF rapid translation grant. He is the Deputy Editor of JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics.
