Saurab Gupta
Clinical Associate Professor Saurabh Gupta is an Interventional Gastroenterologist with expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. He has a particular focus on pancreatic and biliary disease, with subspecialty training in therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) techniques. His skill set also includes advanced tissue resection for neoplasia and third space endoscopy.
A/Prof Gupta is also a leading practitioner in the evolving field of obesity endotherapy in Australia. He plays an active role in the training and delivery of endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) and convened the inaugural Bariatric and Metabolic Endoscopy Symposium in Sydney in 2018.
Deeply committed to medical education, A/Prof Gupta is a passionate advocate for training the next generation of advanced endoscopists. His practice is guided by a strong focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes through minimally invasive, evidence-based techniques.
He serves as Deputy Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee at Sydney Adventist Hospital, is a member of the Endoscopy Faculty Executive Committee of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), and is on the Organising Committee for The Pancreas Summit 2025.
