Selena Schultz

Selena is a Senior Surgical Dietitian at Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia.

She has 19 years of experience working in tertiary and quaternary teaching hospitals. This includes roles as a Senior Dietitian in Upper GI and HepBil units at Royal Adelaide Hospital and in Upper GI & HepBil at Royal North Shore Hospital. Since 2023 she has been part of the teaching team for the Master of Surgery at University of Sydney.

Selena has a special interest in nutritional consequences post pancreatic resections and pancreatic exocrine insufficiency. During her time at Royal North Shore Hospital, she co-founded the Dietitian-Led Pancreatic Nutrition Clinic, the first of its kind in the Asia-Pacific and has presented at conferences and published research from the clinic findings.

She is an active member of Aotearoa Australia Pancreatic Enzyme Replacement Therapy (ASPERT) Research Group.
