Vinciane Rebours
Vinciane Rebours, MD, PhD, is Professor and Head of the Department of Pancreatology and Digestive Oncology, Beaujon Hospital, Clichy, France, exclusively dedicated in the management of pancreatic diseases (inflammatory and cancerous) and digestive neuroendocrine tumours. She studied at the Paris Diderot University for her medical degree and went on to complete her PhD in pancreatic inflammation and oncogenesis. Her post-graduate posts have included Senior Lecturer and Professor at the Pancreatology Unit, Beaujon Hospital and Faculty of Medicine – North Paris University Hospitals Trust, Paris-Cité University. Professor Rebours is currently the elected president of the international association for Pancreatology and was president of the European Pancreatic Club for 2020, of the French Pancreatic Club, and of the French National society of Gastroenterology. Since 2017, she developed and leads a national network for pancreatic rare diseases in France.
In clinical care, she has a special interest in the management of patients with pancreatic genetic diseases, familial pancreatic cancers, precancerous lesions and rare causes of pancreatitis.
Her clinical and basic research areas focus on pancreatitis, cystic pancreatic lesions, pancreatic precancerous lesions (IPMN, PanIN), relation between pancreatic inflammation and oncogenesis and pancreatic cancer.
